Lisa Linardatos, PhD

Dr. Lisa Linardatos is a clinical psychologist and one of the original founding members of Connecte Montreal Psychology Group. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at McGill University in 2012. She is based in Peterborough, Ontario, and provides virtual therapy to residents of Quebec and Ontario. She is a member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ) and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).

Lisa takes an evidence-based, integrative, and trauma-informed approach. She strives to create a strong therapeutic alliance, laying the foundation for collaborative, healing work with her clients. She treats anxiety disorders, OCD, mood disorders, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, body image struggles and self-esteem difficulties. Her approach is based in CBT and incorporates mindfulness-based therapies, such as DBT and ACT, and Compassion Focused Therapy. Her therapy space is LGBTQ+ affirming and weight-inclusive (anti-diet).

Lisa has worked in various clinical settings, including the Eating Disorders Program at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Service at the Jewish General Hospital. She is always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow and learn, and actively participates in consultation groups, provides supervision to trainees, and often attends workshops and trainings. 

Lisa loves all things psychology. Her favourite topics include increasing purpose and meaning in one’s life and work, working through shame and negative core beliefs, working on body acceptance, regulating and managing strong emotions, and interpersonal effectiveness.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys sharing a good meal with loved ones, hiking, and gardening. She cherishes quiet mornings with a cup of coffee and a good book.
