Amadea is passionate about learning and educating the public about pelvic health. She is an invited speaker at Montreal based medical institutions and international conferences. In 2011 she created the “More Than Kegels” workshop which she hosts regularly at various community based organizations to raise awareness about pre-postnatal pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence. To keep her work up to date she is a member of the International Continence Society (ICS), the National vulvodynia Association (NVA) and she sits on the committee for international liaison of the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS).
Travel is Amadea’s second passion and she pursues it with earnest. When in the city, she enjoys dinner parties (where she can talk travel), long urban hikes, and having a good laugh with friends and family.
