Jessica Corbeil, PsyD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Jessica Corbeil is a clinical psychologist and member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Montreal where her doctoral research explored child and parent well-being following a parenting group targeting autonomy support. She is a clinical psychologist at Connecte Montreal Psychology Group and works as a research professional at the University of Montreal.

Jessica completed her residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, gaining experience with a variety of clientele in this rotation program. She developed an expertise in areas such as pediatric health, eating disorders, and parental coaching. In addition, her training at the University of Montreal’s psychology clinic provided a diversified experience in intervening with children, adolescents, and their families, providing treatment for issues including anxiety disorders, adjustment problems, self-esteem difficulties, and interpersonal difficulties. Jessica uses an integrative approach in psychotherapy, including techniques from a humanistic approach, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), intersubjective therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Jessica focuses on creating a validating space in therapy and strives to help her clients fulfill their potential and maximize their well-being. The therapeutic relationship being central, Jessica works to recognize her client’s uniqueness by working alongside them towards their mental health goals.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hosting her friends and family, swimming, cycling, and running with her dog, Lychee.
