Our Covid-19 statement

Dear clients and colleagues,

The present time brings new and difficult challenges, with a marked increase in uncertainty, anxiety, and social isolation. At Connecte, we are working to do our part to help contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) by doing all of our psychotherapy sessions online, rather than in-person. So far, we have had a good response from our clientele, sharing that telehealth platforms are more helpful than anticipated, a finding that is also supported by research.

Although other things are uncertain right now, we at Connecte remain a strong team. Our mandate is to collaborate with one another so that we can continue to be a solid support to our clients and our community during these difficult times.

If you are a new client looking for support during this time, please send us an email at info@connectepsychology.com or call us at (514) 507-0745 so that we can set you up with a therapist who will guide you through the steps to arrange your first session.

We will continue to update our Facebook page with tips and tools on how to take care of your mental health during this global health crisis: https://www.facebook.com/connectepsychology/

We will also continue to publish blog articles on relevant topics to help you through this challenging time. Please check out the last three blogs published on managing anxiety and having compassion for one another and ourselves in a time of global health crisis:

Calm in the time of coronavirus: How to cope with our collective fear

Compassion and Mental Health in a Time of Global Health Crisis

Parenting amid the Covid-19 pandemic: A time to practice self-compassion

Thank you to all of our clients, friends and colleagues for the part you are playing in keeping everyone safe during this global health crisis.
